why i want a wife:

1. I believe the thesis to this story is that woman as wives are expected to do so much, but men don't have the duties as woman. And woman do so much for their children and their husband.

2. When she repeats "i want a wife" is because as a wife, she's a miracle worker and does everything, so who wouldnt want a wife?

3.I think she is being sarcastic becuase wives are expected to do to much, and they have so much they have to do and never have their own time or to do what they wanted to do back in the 60's

4.She defined "wife" as being a woman who takes on all the responsibilities and does everything for the household.She takes on all of the tasks that a wife AND husband should do. I think that the wife does  too much, and should get help from her partner.She wants her readers to realize how it was in the 60's with woman, and sometimes even today. She wants people to realize how important woman are, and everything they do should be took into consideration.

5. Dear Brady,

I appreciate the fact that you wrote this essay. It screams out in a way how woman take on so many tasks, but back then they didn't get any help in return.It inspires woman not to put up with a man walking all over them, or living up to their expectations.
